Sensitive skin isn't a single thing. It can mean dryness that never quite settles, a barrier that reacts to more than it should, or a flush of visible redness that comes and goes. What they share is a lower tolerance — for fragrance, for actives, for anything a formula doesn't strictly need.
What sensitive skin is really asking for
Ember is our collection for exactly this skin — dry, sensitive, easily irritated, prone to visible redness — at any age, from babies to adults. The brief was simple: comfort and barrier support, with nothing that raises the risk of a reaction.
That starts with what we leave out. No fragrance. No essential oils. Both are among the most common triggers for reactive skin, and neither earns its place in a formula meant to calm rather than provoke.
What we put in instead
Ember is built around gentle, skin-compatible botanicals chosen for how well they sit on compromised skin — lipids that help replenish the barrier, and soothing ingredients selected to comfort skin and soften the look of redness over time. The oil is light enough for daily use across face and body; the balm is richer, for the areas that need deeper, longer-lasting comfort.
Nothing is there for how it sounds or smells. Everything is there because sensitive skin has enough to manage already.
Gentle enough for the whole family
Because Ember is fragrance-free and built for reactivity, it suits sensitive skin at every age — a baby's cheeks, a child's dry patches, an adult's reactive skin. The difference is the skin, not the person. As with any new product, we recommend a patch test before first use, and checking with your healthcare professional if you have a skin condition or specific concern.
This is Ember: comfort for skin that reacts, and nothing it doesn't need.
